  • Walmart pharmacist refused to provide me with a prescribed medicine

Today, the pharmacist refused to provide me with a prescribed medicine. First, I had to wait until she would finish chatting over the phone. When she realized that I had been waiting for some time, she disconnected and approached without restraining her discontent. She asked me aggressively, %u201CWhy do you need this medicine? What is the reason your doctor prescribed it to you? What symptoms did you discuss with your doctor%u201D. Being very surprised with her annoyed intonation, I suggested her to contact my physician, yet she insisted on MY detailed explanations. I was trying to remind... More...

  • Did not honor Douglas tire wear-out warrantee

I bought a pair of Douglas 225 50R 17 tires with a 45,000 wear-out warranty. Both tires wore out at 21,000 miles. I returned to WalMart for replacements and warrantee credit for the defective tires. First I was told by one employee at the Oneonta Tire Center that WalMart does not honor tire warrantees and that I needed to contact Douglas. This is not true, and I returned a few days later with a printout of WalMart's tire wear-out warrantee which would entitle me to a pro-rated discount on replacement tires of more than 50% since the tires wore out at less than half of their warrantied... • Walmart and ordering online

I purchased a inversion table online. It was supposed to be to the store on 12/14. 15 days later it still hadn't arrived. I called in store and online every day to see where it was and no one could tell me where it was. All they kept telling me was that it was in process. I talked to a manager named Christopher who said he would look in to it and get back to me within 48 hrs. I did not hear back. On 12/29/16. The guy I talked to said that he would have to cancel my order and that I could purchase another one. Really so I have to reorder the table, which means more money out of my... More...

  • Walmart Site to store mess up

I ordered a 4 wheeler for my son. Then 4 days before christmas I was told my order was in. I go to pick up the 4 wheeler and they bring out a fisher price corvette. I tell them this is not what I ordered, the person behind the counter says it is the wrong serial number but my name is on it. They keep repeating well your name is on it. I stated again that I did not order the corvette but a 4 wheeler. I was asked well do you want to take it or take the refund. I was then informed that if I didn't want to take the wrong product that someone at Walmart messed up on all they could do is... More...

  • WalMart's Mainstay Candles don't burn correctly/completely

This is the second time we have purchased 2 Mainstay (pumpkin spice) candles from WalMart for $4.99 tax each. The first time both candles did not burn properly. There is a " tunnel" burned down the middle of the candles with a LOT of wax remaining. It burned around the circumference...let alone, it only burned this way half way down, making the rest of the candles useless ( unable to light/ burn). This also happened with the second "pair" we purchased. They smell wonderful, but we feel the product is inferior due to this happening AGAIN . (We gave them a... More...

  • big men's sizes

I am 6'3" with a 48-50 inch waist and a 34" inseam. All of the pants, with my waist size, at any/every walmart that I have ever been in only come in lengths of 29", 30", 32". This appears to mean that Walmart beilves that all fat men are short! I was in a Walmart recently looking for pants and there were 5 other guys in the department who were either as a tall as me or taller. None of us could find pants that were long enough. This is stupid on the company's part as they lost pontential sales More...

  • Walmart selection of items review

Walmart at Yucca Valley, CA seems to be limiting the variety of items available. For instance, I use to buy a large dog bowl made of sturdy plastic. Now, the only dog bowls made of plastic that Walmart carries are cheap, flimsy smaller plastic dog bowls. What is Walmart going with their merchansizing? Obviously, not looking out for their customers, but looking for their bottom line. Let's get some variety of items, not limited stock. By the way, I've noticed the same problem at the Palm Springs SuperWalmart! You'd think a Super Walmart would have more of a variety -... More...

  • fabric department

I am writing about wal-mart in Jasper, Texas. I've heard rumors that the fabric department will close. Walmart is the only store in the area where we may purchase fabric. If it closes we will have to go to Beaumont, Texas to purchase fabric. If that happens I will find it necessary to purchase my groceries at Target in Beaumont. I spend in excess of $500 monthly at Walmart. I am a senior citizen and would find it most inconvenient to travel to Beaumont to make my purchases. Please reconsider and do not close the fabric department. Thank you for your consideration. Mary Rothgeb More...

  • nearby community-DIFFERENT prices

From varying(often .10/gal.or more) gas prices to milk-Walmart continues to follow 'whatever the traffic will bear' policy. There are many illustrations of pricing that varies dramatically in adjacent communities that are less than 20 miles apart. These are not penny differences but often $2 or more on exact ,staple items. Perhaps the critics of WMT are correct by pointing out that IF WMT ever felt comfortable with 'owning' a particular market from driving small business entities out, they would suddenly jack up across the board. Fortunately, this economy has forced the... More...

  • Walmart Hiring Process

To whom it may concern, I would like to give feedback on the current hiring process at Walmart. I was called into an interview at the Burbank location, and was offered a part time position as a Cashier that I was very excited to receive. I had stated on my application and verbally that I have a full time position, and that my availability was in the evening, and anytime on the weekends. When I had finished filling out my paperwork, and was told I had the job, the hiring manager said that Orientation was everyday from 10-7 for a week or more at times and there was no flexibility during... • Walmart Location

Walmart has good and bad. I caught my Walmart throwing electronics ten foot down off a truck. They throw the merchandise around, there is no service. However, at a Walmart in TN it was a totally different experience. I do believe it is the location of the Walmart that makes all the difference. A store is only as good as the employee's it hires. The ones I have seen here don't give a fat baby's butt about nuthin for the most part. Too bad. I ran into a good one in VA also. Location must be it. More...
